At Toledo LASIK & Cataract you can choose to have all of your care done at our facility in Toledo, or you can with your own optometrist for your pre and post-operative exams. The term co-management means that an optometrist of your choice works hand in hand with your Toledo LASIK & Cataract surgeon. Oftentimes, patients might choose this option if they live a good distance from the LASIK center, or if they have been seeing their optometrist for years and are very comfortable with their own optometrist.
If you should decide to incorporate your own optometrist in your LASIK process, just let us know. We’ll help you to tailor the process to meet your needs. Furthermore, if you’d like to co-manage, but don’t know an optometrist in your area, let us know and we’ll recommend someone in the area for you!
